The physiatrists at Main Line Spine are Board Certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Pain Medicine. Physiatrists are non-surgical physicians who treat chronic and acute pain associated with spine conditions and injuries, which may have caused a loss in functionality. They perform non-surgical spine procedures and administer injections for pain management, ensure you are physically prepared to handle your recovery process, and coordinate your rehabilitation care.

Roy M. Lerman, MD
Dr. Roy Lerman completed his undergraduate training at the University of Pennsylvania. He graduated from Temple University School of Medicine in 1983 and completed his Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency at Stanford University and affiliated hospitals in Palo Alto, California in 1986. After residency, Dr. Lerman entered private practice in Northern California where he specialized in musculoskeletal medicine treating sports and spinal injuries. In 1991, Dr. Lerman returned to the Philadelphia area to develop a spine medicine program at the Penn Diagnostic Center. In 1993, he began the Main Line Spine Center. Dr. Lerman has had specialty training in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic injections in the spine and peripheral joints. He is currently board certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Pain Medicine.

Denis Rogers, MD
Dr. Denis Rogers has an undergraduate degree in chemistry from St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia. He completed his medical school training at Thomas Jefferson University School of Medicine. He then entered an Orthopedic Surgery Residency Program at The University of Connecticut. After three years in orthopedics he began his Physical Medicine and Rehabilitaion residency at the University of Pennsylvania. Upon completing his residency Dr. Rogers joined Dr. Lerman at Main Line Spine. He has extensive training in degenerative arthritic conditions and sports related injuries. Dr. Rogers is currently board certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Pain Medicine.

Andrew Badulak, DO
Dr. Andrew Badulak is a board certified Family Medicine physician with experience in managing musculoskeletal conditions and occupationally related injuries. He is also interested in primary care sports medicine, and the conservative management of injuries commonly encountered by athletes. Dr. Badulak graduated from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his internship at the University of Medicine and Dentistry in New Jersey and his residency at Temple University. Dr. Badulak joined Main Line Spine in January 2003.

Jeffery J. Rowe, MD
Dr. Jeffery Rowe attended medical school at Saba University School of Medicine. Upon completing medical school he entered a General Surgery residency at Medical College of Pennsylvania/Hahnemann University. After two years he began his Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency at University of Pennsylvania. Following residency he was fellowship trained in Interventional Spine and Pain Medicine. Dr. Rowe joined Main Line Spine in January 2005. He is currently board certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Pain Medicine. Dr. Rowe has had specialty training in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic injections in the spine and peripheral joints and also has extensive training in Burn Surgery and Critical Care. His interests include trauma and sports related musculoskeletal injuries.

Marc Effron, MD
Dr. Effron received his undergraduate degree from CornellUniversity in nutritional sciences. He obtained his medical degree from the State University of New York, UpstateMedicalUniversity. Dr. Effron completed an internal medicine internship at LankenauHospital in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania, and a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at New YorkPresbyterianHospital, The University Hospital of Columbia and Cornell in New York, New York. He has additional fellowship training in interventional pain medicine at LouisianaStateUniversity in New Orleans, Louisiana. Dr. Effron joined Main Line Spine in August 2008. Dr. Effron is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and is board certified in Pain Medicine. Dr. Effron has extensive training in the management of acute and chronic neck and back pain.He is well skilled in the full spectrum of fluoroscopically-guided interventional spine procedures.
Scott Davidoff, MD
Dr. Scott Davidoff has an undergraduate degree from Emory University in Atlanta, Ga.He obtained his medical school degree from Temple University School of Medicine.Dr. Davidoff then completed an internal medicine internship at Hahnemann University Hospital, and subsequently returned to Temple University for his residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.After residency, Dr. Davidoff completed a fellowship in interventional pain management/sports medicine at Orthopaedic and Spine Specialists in York, Pa. He is currently board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Pain Medicine.Dr. Davidoff has extensive training in electrodiagnostic studies and various fluoroscopically- guided procedures for the treatment of neck and back pain.
