L. Matthew Schwartz, M.D.
Dr. Schwartz is board certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Pain Medicine, and Integrative Holistic Medicine. He completed his medical training at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, Columbia University, The University of Pennsylvania, and Thomas Jefferson University.
Dr. Schwartz integrates conventional, functional, and lifestyle medical principles for those experiencing traumatic and degenerative musculoskeletal and neurological disorders. He designs comprehensive, patient-centered treatment plans designed to relieve symptoms and restore functioning.
Dr. Schwartz optimizes his clients’ health through education (nutrition, sleep, exercise, stress management, and eliminating unhealthy behaviors), motivation and innovation. Patients working with him feel more comfortable, stronger, more energetic, flexible, and balanced, and become more optimistic about getting back into the game.
Dr. Schwartz also leads Main Line Spine’s Bone Health Program. He provides his patients with innovative ways to prevent or slow the decrease in bone density symptoms and the risk of osteoporosis as they age.
