Shivani Dua, M.D.Dr. Dua is a board-certified physiatrist who received her medical degree from the George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, DC. She pursued an Internal Medicine preliminary internship at the Allegheny Health Network in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and then completed residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Temple University/MossRehab in Philadelphia, PA. After her residency, Dr. Dua returned to the Allegheny Health Network to complete an accredited Interventional Pain Management fellowship.
Dr. Dua joined Main Line Spine in 2016. She has extensive training in a wide variety of fluoroscopically guided (X-ray guided) interventional spine procedures, including epidural steroid injections, nerve blocks, radiofrequency ablations, and spinal cord stimulator trials to address acute and chronic back and neck pain. Moreover, she is highly skilled in peripheral joint and myofascial trigger point injections. She seeks to integrate these interventional skills with her physical medicine and rehabilitation background to implement a multimodal, patient-centered, individualized approach to pain issues.
