Biography

Dr. Marc Effron earned his undergraduate degree from Cornell University in nutritional sciences. He obtained his medical degree from the State University of New York, Upstate Medical University. Dr. Effron completed an internal medicine internship at Lankenau Hospital in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania, and a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, The University Hospital of Columbia and Cornell in New York City. He underwent additional fellowship training in interventional pain medicine at Louisiana State University in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Dr. Effron joined Main Line Spine in August 2008. He is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and in Pain Medicine. Dr. Effron has extensive training in managing acute and chronic neck and back pain and is well skilled in the full spectrum of fluoroscopically guided (X-ray guided) interventional spine procedures, including regenerative medicine.
